Sourced Box Review!

I cannot explain how excited I was when my first ever Sourced Box landed on my doorstep! (Yes I know I need to get a life!) I’ve been watching both Niomi Smart and Marcus Butler on youtube for a while and I’ve been wanting to order a Sourced Box for just as long. Knowing that I had a few holiday’s coming up I thought there couldn’t be a better time to stack up on healthy snacks.
If you haven’t heard of Sourced Box before it’s basically a box that gets delivered to your door once a month that includes a variety of natural, healthy snacks. You can order a one off box, or subscribe monthly or annually.
I ordered off July box and I thought I’s share my thoughts on what I received! This post is not sponsored it’s just the thoughts of an ordinary consumer.

Raw Cacao Orange Protein Bar - Bodyme
This reminded me a bit of the nakd chocolate orange bar which I love but it wasn’t quite as nice as it tasted a bit powdery. It was great as a different source of protein though!
3/5

Peach Crisps - Giving Tree
Loved these, they were great for my healthy sweet kick! Light and not to filling and great for travel but to be honest I always prefer to eat the actual fruit.
3/5

Inca Berry & Pumpkin Seed Coconut Flapjack - The Living Food Kitchen
I can’t remember the last time I had a flapjack and this one was amazing - plus I love anything coconut flavoured! It’s actually inspired me to look up some healthy flapjack recipes so I can make my own.
4/5

Lemon & Lime Sparkling energy water - Virtue
A little disappointing as it tasted of sparkling water with some lemon slices in it but it definitely did give me a little energy kick to get me through the afternoon without coffee
2/5

Seed and Nut Bar - Wild Trail
I had this about an hour before my workout and it kept my full and energised. I LOVED that it had a strong peanut taste and the fact that there were only 5 ingredients - the icing on the raw fruit and nut cake!
5/5

Rosemary & Thyme Pitta Chips - Soffles
Great for a snack on the go as an alternative to crisps. To be honest after spending most of the day in the bottom of my bag they were crushed to tiny bits but still tasted great!
4/5

Cacao dusted tiger nuts - The Tiger Nut Company
I was really disappointed with these, definitely not my favourites. I didn’t get a chocolate taste at all from the cacao and the tiger nuts just had a really weird texture.
1/5

Tamari Rosted Soya with Chilli - Clearspring
Another great snack. Healthy alternative to salted peanuts, tasted a little like wiglets and so so filling!
4/5

Lemon & Ginger tea biscuits - Rhythm 108
A great healthy alternative to your favourite biscuits. Had them with some coffee and totally couldn’t tell they weren’t packed with tones of sugar like my normal favourites. Will definitely be buying more soon.
4/5

Beetroot & Horseradish activated crackers - Saf raw
These tasty crackers proved how underrated and underused beetroot is as a vegetable! I ate mine with some leftover dips that were in my fridge and found them a really filling snack.
4/5

Good Berries - The Good Guru
Not only did these transform the colour of my smoothie from a gruesome green to a perfect pink but they also added some natural sweetness and boosted my immune system. Another item on my to buy list!
4/5

I thought the box included a superb mix of both sweet and savoury snacks my favourite being the Seed and Nut bar by Wild trail. Although I did’t enjoy everything in the box, I definitely think everyone will find something to love. What put me off buying the box for so long was the price (£21.95 for a one-off box) but it’s well worth the price considering you get ten items that normally cost around £3 to £4 each. I will definitely consider ordering another on off box in the future but I think it would take me more than a month to eat all the snacks so I don’t see my sining up for a monthly subscription.

Have any of you ordered a Sourced Box before or anything similar? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

My First Post

I’m finally writing my first blog post! Yippee! I’m currently sat in my garden on a wonderfully (and rare) sunny day, with my laptop and a bowl full of strawberries for sustenance and loving life. Starting a bog is something I've wanted to do for years but I've never felt like I had the time. I now have a long summer in front of me and I can't think of a better time to start writing.
The main reason I wanted to start a blog was so that I could share my love for all thing fitness and beauty  with people who are actually interested in the same things as me. My love for fitness has grown over the past year having run my first ever 10k and getting a personal trainer to help me reach my fitness goals, and let's be honest it's just another excuse to buy more fitness clothes! (Another pair of leggings? Yes please!).
Beauty and make up wise I'm DEFINITELY a novice but I'm learning fast and I'm proud to say I no longer wear foundation that's three shades do dark for me, streaks of dark pink blusher or neon nail varnish! To be honest I'm just loving trying out different styles I see online and perfecting my contouring (I've got a long way to go!).
Another reason I wanted to start a blog is because I’ve been so inspired recently by the ones out there already and just though “If they can do I why can’t I?”. Some of my favourite bloggers include
 Niomi Smart http://www.niomismart.com
Vivianna Does Makeup http://www.viviannadoesmakeup.com
Fleur de Force http://www.fleurdeforce.com
All these women are always so positive about life and although they have very different lifestyles I always feel motivated when watching them, so if you haven’t seen them yet go check them out! I do realise that all of these are you tubers but I’m currently a lot more comfortable behind my computer screen than in front of a camera!
So that’s a little about me and I hope you’ll come back to keep reading!
